The Algeria Ferry is a passenger roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel built by Guangzhou Shipyard International for ENTMV, Algeria’s state-owned shipping company. As the first Ro-Ro ferry project jointly developed by China and Algeria, the project represents a significant milestone in bilateral cooperation within the maritime and marine transportation sectors. The construction contract was signed in 2018, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Algeria.
For this vessel, HPL and exterior-grade panels were selected for wall and cabinetry applications to meet the demanding requirements of marine environments. The materials provide excellent durability, moisture resistance, and surface stability, ensuring long-term performance under high humidity, vibration, and frequent use.
By combining functional reliability with clean, modern surface finishes, the panel system supports both operational efficiency and passenger comfort, contributing to a safe, durable, and well-finished interior environment aboard the ferry.
