Sustainability is here to stay, and its relevance is fast growing in our industry. We strive to manufacture our products with natural raw materials, to reduce the negative effects on humanity and the environment and to avoid waste. For REXIN sustainability is not a one-time investment, nor a communication campaign, it is rather a way of thinking, and a long-term corporate strategy to continuously decrease our environmental impact.
Sustainability is a complex topic,our environment and energy policies can be found in four fundamental fields of action in the REXIN Green Files and is part of Tian'an Group sustainability compass regarding environment, social and governance (ESG).

With our actions we want to deal responsibly with resources, our environment and the concerns of our stakeholders.
The most important stakeholders for us are proprietors, employees, costumers and authorities. For us, stakeholder engagement is not a trend, but an essential pillar in sustainable corporate governance.
For the implementation of the environmental and energy policy, REXIN has established a systematic environmental and energy management – certified according to ISO standard – with experts and professional representatives.
Products from nature
Environmental product declarations (EPDs)
For 15 years, REXIN has been working with precision and love for natural raw materials. Our main raw material paper comes from certified sustainable forestry.
Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during their growth process and continue to store it after harvesting.
At REXIN, we focus on the long-term use of wood. In the first lifecycle of the product, we use wood as the material to produce wood based HPL and compact HPL. Thanks to its excellent durability, we can use the product for the second life cycle, and the use of the second life cycle is more for reuse rather than recycling. We will only use it as fuel for incineration and generate green energy when the product is no longer in use.
Sustainable energy
In Jiashan manufacturing center, our 10,000 m² photovoltaic plant supplies environmentally friendly electricity through the power of the sun.
In addition to the generation and use of green energy, we also focus on heat recovery .
We are working hard to make our processes and production more sustainable step by step. The aim is to achieve a 20% increase in our energy efficiency in the long term.
Carbon neutrality
Climate protection is part of our DNA, because wood is an ideal climate protector: It grows back and binds CO2 from the atmosphere. If we use wood in the form of furniture or as building material, the carbon is stored longer and with our wood-based materials, it's like subtracting carbon dioxide from the environment, which is equivalent to negative carbon.
Through the continuous monitoring of our emissions, compliance with our limit values and the state-of-the-art operation of the plants, we guarantee transparent and clean processes for all areas of our production.
Our goal is carbon neutrality.

FSC® Certification
REXIN high-pressure decorative laminates are available with full FSC® certification.
What is FSC®?
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. FSC was established in response to global concerns about deforestation and unsustainable forestry practices.
FSC forest management certification is awarded to forest managers who follow strict environmental, social, and economic standards. The FSC Principles and Criteria form the foundation for responsible forest management globally, helping protect biodiversity, ecosystems, and the rights of workers and local communities.
What Is Certified Wood?
Certified wood comes from forests that have been independently audited and verified to meet recognized standards of responsible forest management. This ensures that the wood used in REXIN products:
Is sourced from environmentally responsible forests
Protects biodiversity and wildlife habitats
Supports social responsibility and local communities
Is economically sustainable over the long term
FSC Chain of Custody
FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification verifies that FSC-certified materials are tracked and documented throughout the entire supply chain—from the forest to the finished product.
This certification covers every stage of procurement, processing, manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, and sale, ensuring full traceability and integrity of FSC-certified materials used in REXIN laminates.
UL GREENGUARD & GREENGUARD Gold Certification
Our products are certified under the UL GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold programs, which verify that materials meet strict limits for chemical emissions.
This certification confirms that our high-pressure laminate products contribute to healthier indoor air quality by emitting very low levels of volatile organic compounds.
GREENGUARD Certified products are suitable for use in commercial interiors such as offices and retail spaces. GREENGUARD Gold Certified products meet even more stringent requirements, making them appropriate for sensitive environments including schools, healthcare facilities, and other spaces where children or vulnerable occupants are present.
All testing is conducted according to UL 2818 standards and recognized international indoor air quality evaluation methods, ensuring compliance with global building and sustainability requirements.
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification
Our ISO 14001 certification confirms that REXIN operates a structured, effective, and continuously improving environmental management system.
This internationally recognized standard requires us to identify, manage, and reduce the environmental impacts of our operations, including:

- Pollution prevention
- Ongoing environmental performance improvement
- Regular external audits ensure that our environmental practices remain compliant, effective, and aligned with global sustainability expectations.
For our customers, ISO 14001 certification provides assurance that REXIN high-pressure decorative laminates are manufactured responsibly, with environmental stewardship embedded throughout the production process.
Green Label Certification
Zhejiang Rexin Decorative Material Co., Ltd. has been awarded the SEC Green Label Certification for its REXIN® High Pressure Laminate (HPL) products, recognizing their compliance with environmentally preferred standards for surface coverings.
Certified under Green Label Category 42: Surface Coverings, this certification confirms that Rexin HPL meets strict requirements for environmental performance, supporting sustainable building practices and healthier indoor environments.
China Green Building Material Product Certification
Zhejiang Rexin Decorative Material Co., Ltd. has been officially awarded the China Green Building Material Product Certification, recognizing its products’ compliance with national standards for environmentally friendly and sustainable building materials.
Certified at the One-Star Level, this certification covers Rexin’s Bamboo-Wood Fiber Integrated Wall Panel product range, including non-combustible high-pressure resin panels and decorative panels. The certification is conducted under a rigorous evaluation system that includes initial factory inspection, product sampling and testing, and ongoing post-certification supervision, ensuring consistent product quality and environmental performance.
ESG Rating
REXIN (Zhejiang Rexin Decorative Materials Co., Ltd.), as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tianan New Material, actively participated in the Group-level ESG rating assessment.
During the evaluation process, the ESG rating agency conducted on-site visits and assessments at REXIN’s manufacturing facilities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our practices in environmental management, production compliance, occupational health and safety, quality control, and social responsibility.
In alignment with Tianan New Material’s unified ESG governance framework, emission reduction targets, and management standards, REXIN strictly implements the Group’s ESG policies in its daily operations. We continuously promote green manufacturing, energy efficiency, responsible production, and employee well-being, while actively supporting the Group’s ESG data collection, verification, and improvement initiatives.
Through active participation in the ESG rating process, REXIN has further strengthened its sustainability management practices and continues to serve as a solid manufacturing and operational contributor to the Group’s overall ESG performance.
