Peking University Cancer Hospital is a Grade A, Class III specialized oncology hospital, jointly administered by Peking University and the Beijing Municipal Hospital Authority. As a leading medical institution, the hospital places exceptionally high demands on building materials in terms of safety, hygiene, environmental performance, and emotional comfort.
For this project, REXIN A-Class Non-Combustible High-Pressure Resin Panels (TAIKA) were extensively applied as interior wall finishes, with a total application area of 12,000 square meters. The panels help create a green, warm, comfortable, and efficient medical environment that supports both clinical operations and patient well-being.
The interior design incorporates natural elements and calming color schemes. REXIN pure white panels serve as the primary wall tone, complemented by grey-white flooring and blue skirting lines, establishing a sense of order and tranquility. This clear and soothing spatial atmosphere enhances brightness and openness while helping patients and their families reduce anxiety and emotional stress.
As a special public facility, hospitals require strict standards for building material safety. REXIN TAIKA panels combine eco-friendly performance with rich color and texture options, shaping a soft and natural interior aesthetic. With excellent flexibility and dimensional stability, the panels can be easily formed into curved surfaces, adding emotional depth and spatial tension while improving safety at detailed junctions.
In public medical areas, large-scale application of REXIN TAIKA panels ensures resistance to frequent disinfection, easy cleaning, and effective antibacterial performance, providing a clean and comfortable environment for both patients and medical staff. In high-humidity areas such as restrooms, drinking water zones, and wash areas, the panels’ durability, moisture resistance, antibacterial properties, and compatibility with wet disinfection further enhance hygiene and long-term performance.
